Is Hobnob Tours taking bookings following the coronavirus pandemic?
Hobnob Tours is back guiding around St James', Mayfair, Westminster, Southwark and Hampton Court.
Are you taking additional measures to keep members of the tour group safe in view of the pandemic?
To be on the safe side, I am accepting bookings from up to 5 people only until further notice meaning that each tour group will comprise a maximum of 6 people - 5 guests and me!
I am triple vaccinated against Covid 19. I only wish to guide people who have been similarly vaccinated so if you have not, I would prefer that you do not book one of my tours at the moment.
I hope you will understand that I will not shake hands at the beginning or end of the tour which will be the hardest thing to do as it is my natural instinct to do just that!
I will not wear a mask when guiding other than if we enter a building which insists upon it.

What happens if it rains?
The tour will go ahead whatever the weather - bring waterproofs, sensible shoes and an umbrella and you won’t even notice! Funnily enough, it doesn’t seem to rain very often!
How far do we walk on a tour?
This varies from walk to walk but as a rule of thumb, roughly 3 miles.
Can I rearrange the date?
Yes, no problem. Telephone to rearrange at least one week ahead of the date of the booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
If a tour is cancelled on the date of the booked tour, 100% of the tour fee is payable. There is no charge for cancellations before the date of the tour.
What if we are running late on the day of the tour?
When you confirm a booking with me, I will give you my mobile number so call me to let me know. I try my best to accommodate delays but whether I can or not will depend on my other commitments on the day.
How do I book a Hobnob tour?
Please e-mail me on email@example.com so that we can agree a date and time for the tour. Also, we can discuss any specific requests you have.
How do I pay for a Hobnob tour?
Once we have agreed a date and time, please re-visit my website and go to the Tour Prices tab. At the bottom of the page, you can make payment via PayPal.
Payment must be made at least one week before the date of the tour. The tour is not secured until I have received payment in full.
How does Hobnob Tours meet its obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?
We receive, collect and store any information you provide us. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address and mobile number. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.
Hobnob Tours is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, and text messages.
