I know we're not even in 2017 yet but if you're the type of person who likes to plan ahead, the Palace has just announced a fabulous new exhibition which can be accessed through normal summer admissions. The exhibition is called 'Royal Gifts' and tells the story of the Queen's reign through a wide-ranging display of official gifts presented to Her Majesty during the past 65 years. Summer admissions run from 4 August to 24 September inclusive and adult entry costs £23. Now, talking of the Queen's gifts, I wonder what happened to the two bull elephants given to the Queen in 1972 by the President of the Cameroon - surely they won't be on display...!!
