Two exhibitions which explore Britain's relationship with Russia open today at the Queen's Gallery. The first entitled 'Russia, Royalty and the Romanovs' considers family, political, diplomatic and artistic stories about Britain and Russia and their Royal families. The other, Roger Fenton's 'Photographs of the Crimea' is the first exhibition to focus exclusively on Fenton's pioneering photographs of the Crimean War which showed the reality of the war to the Victorian public for the first time.Easily accessible from Victoria station, these are two exhibitions worth visiting.
